Happy Birthday Forum Oxford, 3 years today for the expert community around mobile
Alan and I were among the founders of Forum Oxford and it is a great delight to see that the "little club" that we started with Ajit Jaokar, Peter Holland, Russell Buckley and others back in September 2005 has grown to over 1900 members from over 60 countries. The discussions are most intelligent and insightful, and we feature very strongly the "who's who" of the major bloggers and authors in the mobile space at the Forum. The group has evolved into such a strong unit, we've even had two very popular conferences for the Forum Oxford - and we featured Alan as the keynote at the last event this Spring.
Obviously it is not centrally focused to the same topics as we do here at this blog, but there is plenty of overlap. If any of our readers would like an invitation (the Forum is free but needs an invitation), please send me an email at tomi (at) tomiahonen (dot) com and I'll get you the invitation.
But yes, three years later, its over 1900 members and growing... A wonderful experiment in social networking in the professional space (about telecommunications ha-ha).. Congratulations Forum Oxford.
